This crayfish trap, made of metal mesh, features two lateral funnels, a bait compartment, and a capture compartment that can hold up to a hundred crayfish. When properly positioned and baited, for example, with a herring net, it should meet your expectations in terms of catch efficiency. Additionally, unlike crayfish net fishing, it does not require constant monitoring at the fishing spot.

This trap has been tested and approved by the invasive species control brigade of the Parc Naturel Régional de la Brenne.
